Coach JT Adenrele is a Sacramento-area native and former NCAA Division I standout at UC Davis, where he was teammates with Touch Shooting founder Ryan Sypkens.

A highly recruited player out of Oakmont High School in Roseville, JT was a McDonald’s All-American nominee and one of Northern California’s top prospects before continuing his career at UC Davis.

During his time with the Aggies, JT established himself as one of the Big West’s premier interior players, earning All-Big West Conference Honorable Mention honors and finishing 3rd all-time at UC Davis in career blocked shots. He later helped the Aggies capture the 2017 Big West Championship and earn the program’s first NCAA Division I Tournament appearance.

Today, JT brings his experience back to the Sacramento basketball community as a varsity basketball coach and Touch Shooting Certified Coach. His combination of high-level playing experience, coaching knowledge, and understanding of the Touch Shooting development system allows him to connect with athletes and help them develop the skills, IQ, confidence, and habits needed to reach the next level.
